CONTAMINATED SITE INVESTIGATION

Plateau staff has performed hundreds of contaminated site investigations and characterizations for soil, sediment, surface and groundwater. Plateau has extensive experience to effectively plan and execute contamination projects quickly, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Because we maintain strong and trusting relationships with numerous regulators, Plateau is able to quickly obtain consensus and approval for work plans, report deliverables, and recommendations for remediation or other follow-up actions. Plateau has experience working under CERCLA, RCRA, Oregon DEQ and Washington State MTCA cleanup programs. Due diligence is necessary for property transactions and include performance of Phase I Environmental Assessments to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions and Phase II ESAs to confirm their presence. In addition, we have extensive experience in conducting site investigations in support of Brownfields Redevelopment. Our staff understands brownfields transactions from a technical standpoint and also from a regulatory perspective which allows Plateau to move a brownfields agreement quickly.
